Noticed a couple of other recent posts concerning this. I get no water from supply hose that connects to theromstat housing coming up from outdrive. I have back flushed this hose with impeller housing off. I have replaced the housing and all internal components of the impeller. Works fine with muffs on. But put it in the water and nothing. Had it in the river and the hose disconnected tonite and started up and got water coming out. Then hooked back up to engine and checked it about a minute later and no water. I am completely lost on this one. Heard a rumor that the plastic line that runs thur the transon will get weak and collapse but don't know. Has anyone heard of this happening or have any other ideas. Appreciate any help or info.

Just some info to share. Pulled my outdrive off and removed the lower unit and found that the 2 hat seals that go on the water supply tube on the lower unit that connects to the upper unit were dry rotted. This must have not been letting the impeller to create an vaacum to pull the water up to it. Works great now. Keeps temp at about 170 degrees.
