OMC 260 (5.7 L) Oil Filter

Does anyone have a part number (AC Delco, Champion, etc.) for the large oil filter that will work with this motor? I've heard that if you have the clearance, there is a longer (larger volume) oil filter that will easily replace the OEM.<br /><br />Thanks!

HydroSwift<br />I am a omc owner.I was using merc filters on mine.But now I am using wix or napa gold filters.<br />As Bondo says,it doesn't matter.I used that info and crossed mine.I did have the short filter for oil and just crossed it to the long one with the same thread and gasket dia.

Thanks everyone. I guess that I mis-worded the question. My concern was not the filter brand, but a part number (from any brand) for the longer filter.<br /><br />Fortunately, I have found it, the longer oil filter is PH-29.<br /><br />Thanks.

An ac delco is pf25 and the larger is a 35,same but longer.Charlie
