I'm looking at a boat that has the older version volvo penta outdrive (white). The only id plate I could find said 280. Does anyone know if these are problematic and what to look for when inspecting the boat?
Built like tanks. If it works its fine. The only thing is no trim. Most have a tilt motor to lift the outdrive for trailering but that is it. You wont be able to move the outdrive when underway.
