I am currently rebuilding an older Tohatsu 2.5 HP outboard. Model M2.5A. This model utilizes points instead of a CD ignition system. My newer Tohatsu 3.5 HP has an ignition system wiring diagram included within the owners manual, but the older 2.5 manual contans no wiring diagram and very little else.
