i have a couple of questions re. my old merc 25 tiller motor.
i dont know what year,,,cant find any serial ### anywhere
here goes.
it has major compression and is a bear to pull start, but starts and runs just fine, could there be carbon buildup that would make the compression so high??? if so would de-carboning the head and pistons help????????head gasket would be hard to get i suppose not knowing the year.
next question, is there any way to tighten the steering??and the throttle
one more thing, is it possible to replace the flywheel and install a starter, im getting a tad old to pull start this little beast
just askin
thanks in advance
