Hi can anyone tell me the year of my johnson ob and tell me fuel/oil mix and spark plugs I am soposed to use? I think it is a 1963.<br />hp.-5.5<br />model#-CD-20R<br />serial#-2390063

1963 is correct.<br />The mixture for that engine is 24:1.<br />Original spark plugs are Champion J6J, now Champion J6C, gapped to 0.030".<br /><br />A well loved motor, those 5.5's.

thats one quart of oil into a six gallon tank<br /><br />wal mart has a great deal on oil too, 2.5 gallons of Pennzoil synthetic blend for 18 bucks, 1.80 a quart, good deal in my book!
