I just bought a honda BF100 circa 1980s with no fuel tank or hoses.( started up when I sprayed fuel into carb) I see that the female fitting for the engine side 17650 921 003ZB looks very very similar to the Johnson Evinrude old barb style, however the price differential is 5 xs more for the Honda. Are they interchangeable? I know the modern square pin is different then the round dual pin which do look similar to each other.

Welcome aboard.

You need a tank and hose. Tanks are pretty much universal and complete hose kits for Hondas come with all the needed bits and pieces.

Find a $1.00 used OMC fitting.----Put it on the Honda.-----Put the $10 OMC fitting on the hose .----Done.

My useless message was related to the OP not having a tank or hose. That's what he said - No tank or hose.

So why mess with changing hose ends or motor connections. Buy a tank and a hose kit with the Honda end pre-installed.
