I have a older evinrude outboard that I don't know the HP or year. I only know the seriel number and not model number
How would I find this out will try to post picks and s number

Hi fishi. Welcome to iboats. Look on the transom clamp for a small metal tag riveted in place. There should be a model and ID number. It may have been painted over at some point too. If you can't find that tag, look for a small metal disc (welch plug) on the powerhead with a serial number. You also just post a pic.

Found one on transom clamp all it has is seriel where is the other one?

That IS both numbers. They have the format XXXXX-YYYYYYY, where the letters or numbers before the dash are the model number, and those after the dash are the sequential serial number.

I think i found it according to one sight it is a 15 HP 1953.
The HP sounds right but does that look like its that old.
It still runs good but there is no water stream coming out of the motor should there be one for this old of a outboard?

It is a 1954

The water will exit with exhaust via outlet. Likely time for an impeller
