How do I get "Latest Activity" to just report the title ?

I don't think there is a way to do that as of yet........ but many have mentioned the same basic issue, I am sure once they put all the big fires out someone will check and see if that can be added/modified.

I just tried (in my user settings) display mode and it seemed to have no effect.

What you want, I believe, is "New Topics." You will find that under the Forums tab at the top of the page

I've messed about with it, and I can't seem to find a way to display just the new posts title...is there a way to link us non-tech savvy guys to a search like the ole one, that had a search for 'getnew' or something like that in the title?
