I have an older model mercury outboard with an older model trim pump, the issue I am having is the pump motor is fried, tried replacing the brushes but, the copper plates were worn badly as well. Without any luck rebuilding is not an option, my question is I am having a very hard time locating a replacement pump motor, most sites are showing it obsolete, and all others do not have the 4 hydrolic line hookups on the bottom. This one is a High and low and requires 4 line hookup at pump everything Im seeing is a two line hydrolic system.
My question is does anyone know where I can find one at a decent price or, am I looking at replacing the entire system? It is a 2 ram system but has 2 lines per ram, I assume input and output it has the reverse lockout know on the pump as well, but is there anyway to make it interchange with a two line pump or, am I just out of luck on this one? Thanks in advance for any info on this
