:( I have a old 14' Sears aluminum boat, that my late Father had given me. A brisk Wyoming windstorm picked her up like a leaf and threw her about a hundred yards into the field next door snaping a fence post off as she went over the barb wire fence. Got a small tear in the hull above the splash rail and a big dent in the bottom near the stern, and the gunnels are bent in on both sides pretty good near the bow (I have pictures I could email) I am absolutley sick over this. Dad and I spent a lot of time fishing together in this boat when I was a kid, she has a lot of sentimental vaule. Is she repairable? Please feel free to email me at: heartofwyoming@earthlink.net
Thanks,
Dave

Yes it is very repairable....email me:flyboymark@aol.com and I will return detailed simple instructions on what to do. Send me pics of the damaged gunwhale rails.
I've been in the marine welding and fabricating business for 20 years and aluminum boat restoration is one of the main things I do. When you email me I will have a list of questions for you to answer.
