i need to find a place that sells old outboard parts any good websites?i need to replace a bunch of stuff for my 55 rude.thanks.and also what are some parts that i might still be able to get at my dealer.

tcoutboard.com is the best source of used parts I have found. There are others.

Maybe. If you tell us the model number or year of your engine every time you start a thread, we can answer your questions better.

How's that V8 doing, or do you still have that one?

You're a pretty lucky young guy to have all that stuff.

the V8 still doing good i haven't really got a chance to take it out latly i Ben working on these old outboards i bought.i just got the second piston to freed up on my 1955 evinrude :)

The solid core plug wire you need can be bought at NAPA by the foot. As you know, modern silicon core wire should not be used on an old magneto application. I bought a coil of it ten years ago and have replaced the wires on three different big and small twins I have owned.
