Is there a good web site to determanin years of old Mercs and a parts explosion break down? A where used parts list would be great too. I have a few old Mercs I want to part out, and have no idea what I have.<br /><br />Thanks.

All I can find is a serial number 2258278. Its 35 HP engine. Is there some other numbers like a model# ? If so where is this number found ? How do I know what year it is?<br /><br />Thanks

With Mercury engines, you can determine the year from the serial number. That checks out as a '67. This is a good cross reference:<br />maxrules.com/merc_contents.html
