I have this old (I have NO idea what year) Johnson 1.5 horse (or something like that) I inherited from my father-in-law. It still runs. The only problem is that at full throttle, if you are heading into the wind, you ain't going anywhere. I estimate it pushes my fishing boat about 1/4 mph. I don't use it anymore. It's just hanging in the shed.<br /><br />One day, my wife and I were touring the Marine Museum in Door County, Wisconsin and danged if MY engine wasn't hanging in the "Vintage Motors" exhibit -- and it was the oldest one they had in the exhibit. Only mine had all the parts and theirs was missing things. Is this engine worth anything to a collector? Do people even collect vintage old outboards? I can get the model and serial number next time I go to the cabin.<br /><br />Dave
