Lot of experience with engines, cars, trucks, tractors, lawn equipment, motorcycles and snowmobiles. Purchased a used Pontoon with Yamaha 2007 4 stroke 40 Hp and just got done replacing the water pump.
Test run on muffs and in the tank with strong flow on all and headed out to the Lake again, in a few days.
I tend to read a lot and help IF I actually know otherwise not.
I did use some Marine grease on the Impeller per the service manual when I replaced, will all OEM parts and the new housing of course. I went through the entire boat and motor to make sure all is ok... I am a fussy old guy!
