Old Gauge Q...

I have one of those old trim plates with the ignition key and choke button. However, I'm missing the gauge in the middle. Does anyone know what the gauge is that goes in that place.

The gauge in question is the one to the left of the steering wheel...

Thanks...

Naa...the small hole to the left on the plate is the choke button. The small hole to the right is the ignition key. The center is a larger diameter hole in it that must of had a gauge in it?...

If your talking about the gauge in the same panel and just to the right of the "Push to Start" Button it looks like an Amp Meter to me. The needle is in the middle like I would expect for one. Sorry can't tell what brand from that photo.

Cool looking old boat, how about some more pictures of it?

Nice observation?I would have to conclude that he had a generator on the outboard as well??

Those aren?t my boats. Those are images that I pulled from an Old Restoration Crestliner board. I have a 1955 model that I?m fixing up and have one of those plates with the gauge missing. I was just wondering what went in the empty hole?thanks.
