OLD FIRESTONE outboard???

Hi All I recently acquired an OLD firestone here are the specs.. s/n? 487-404103 Code: 133-8-487, Stock 10-A-2 3.6 Horsepower.. This is a 1 lung unit really old i dont know anything about it.. Any help would be greatful.. Thank you again in advance.<br />Allan

Hi Allan,<br /> The Firestone singles were 3.5 or 3.6hp models built by Scott-Atwater. They made them from the late 1940s into the 1950s. Not bad little motors. Check out the Antique Outboard Motor Club's site (www.aomci.org) for links and such for old outboard parts & services.<br />- Scott
