Old Evinrude Motor??

My next door neighbor had a small evinrude motor in his shed which he gave my son. I am trying to find out what hp and year it is. The serial number is 3025-06227. My nieghbor thinks it is a 3 hp-any information would be appreciated. I am trying to get a manual on it.

Model number 3024 is a 1957 3 hp Evinrude.<br />Model number 3026 is a '58. Can't find 3025. Are you sure it isn't 3026? Thanks for the information. I will have to check out the number when I get home. My son wrote down the number so I am not sure.
