Just bought the motor and it started up OK. It sat for 2 years outside....winter and everything. I can only get it to run smoothly in a fully choked state. I adjusted all needle settings and linkages as per specs. As soon as I try to take off the choke, she starts to shake and stalls. I can get it to rev pretty good in a choked state but I assume it is very rich. Please help!!

Hey, Kyrie. Fuel starvation. Clean the carbs, with particular attention to the smallest passages. Put an overhaul kit in your fuel pump. Make sure there is no glop in your tank pickup or fuel lines. That should bring her back to life. As insurance against unpleasant surprize, replace the water pump impeller.

Bon Voyage.
JB
