Old B100 Carb Adustments?

I have an 85 b100 10hp that just got running. I think the carb is gummed up. When I sqeeze the fuel bulb gas come out of the top of the carb. Also what is the idle mixture screw setting. Thanks

I had a similar problem with my old 8 hp Honda. The float was stuck in the down or open position. Took the carb apart and cleaned the needle and seat. Make sure to measure the float setting brfore you re-assemble the carb. The engine now works great. Once you get the engine to run adjust the idle to make the engine run smooth but still not bang into gear. Low speed is beter the high speed idle.
