what will cause it to flood only above 3/4 throttle? at idle or low rpms its fine, but if i run it at all over 3/4 throttle gas start pouring out of the carb...

carb is spotless! i thought maybe the float adjustment was out but i tried many diff angles and same problem.

if i hold it wide open, sometimes it will run a few seconds fine then flood/bog then pick back up and clear out..

Can you provide a model #? Of the engine or of the carburetor?

If we can look at a diagram of the carburetor it might help identifying gaskets and/or seals that might be missing; that sort of thing.
