Well if you were following my previous post "Sank the Ol' Girl", I did everything can think of to prepare and recover her back to health and beauty that she was prior to the BATH she took all the way down as it was...
Anyway now I'm out of ideas. I just drained the oil & filter for the 3rd time, emptied the fuel tanks (about 8 gals.) Replaced with fresh. Cleaned all ingnition components and wires. Replaced key switch and start/stop button...etc. Got fat spark finally strong crank but she will not start!?!....
Who can tell me where to go next with her?

Bondo, you never to fill my sail. Frankly, I assumed there was but I haven't any direct knowledge that there is... I'll check this morning and report back!

Ok😉Team! Well as Bondo pointed out was I really getting girl to the carb? Dur...Not sure why I assumed I was, anyway...no fuel. I got it all the way to the water separator fuel wasn't pumpin'...I been working on her all day. So I took carb & pump off, disassembled and soaked everything in detergent for the afternoon. Cleaned em and rinsed and blew out all passages. That pump was pretty messy but the valves and gaskets were pretty good shape.
Anyway almost all back together. I'll finish up in the am report back!
Thanks again people. This is like the umteenth time I had problems and you guys pointed me in the right direction and have been very successful because of this forum! And the new s__t I learn along the way has never been short of mind blowing 😎

You can always easily dump a little gas down the carb to quickly confirm it is lack of gas. If there is decent spark it will run a little bit with some gas dumped down the carb.

Yes, I'm now fuel and spark, but my suspicions now suggest I may still have water in the tanks. Again, I siphoned out what I thought was the last of it so I'll check it tomorrow...

Fired up...but after 4 to 5 minutes idling, she would just stumble and fall.
I check the + coil...no voltage!?! Then, pulling my hair out, I jumpered a wire from battery + to coil + and she fired up strong again?
So can I just run another ingnition wire along the purple ignition wire from the key switch directly to the coil + terminal?

If the boat sank the likely hood of corrosion in wiring connections and harness is good. I would try the cannon plug between boat harness and engine harness. Clean it sometime you have to expand the male pins for a tight fit. Use a volt meter to see where you are loosing voltage . If it is the switch itself running new wires will not help.
