Water temp at Fire Island Coast Guard Stat. is 38.1 degrees.<br /><br />Even the flounder haven't come up out of the mud yet!<br /><br />Only thing around here is Cod, out in the ocean, in 75 to 80 ft of water.

KKC, are you in the Coast Guard there at Fire Island? I was stationed at Jones Beach '89 to '94. Worked for Sea Tow for a few years after that. Seeing you mention the Fire Island station brings back the memories.

The Sacramento River is 49 deg. The local lake got up to 69deg last Sunday.
