I back my toon in the driveway, jump out, and hear water sloshing around in my starboard toon. Don't sound like much but I want to investigate. I get a small hose to siphon the water out and when I remove the top (only) plug, air escapes!!! So, if there's a hole letting water in, then why the heck is air pressure, however slight, building in there and not escaping out of the same hole?????? The only thing I can think of is condensation. But the port toon doesn't have any sloshing.:confused: Thanks guys for any answers.

Condensation shouldn't cause sloshing, how much water did you siphon out?

I couldn't get much at all but I can still hear it. Seems like there should be a plug on the bottom for draining but I don't have one.

I build boats and yes that happens all the time, there is alot of air in there, when the boat is in the water it cools the tube, the air contracts and sucks water, when you pull the boat out the air gets hot and expands and creates pressure but the water won't let it vent very fast.

You shouldn't get enough condensation to hear water so you do have a leak somehwere adn the only way to find it is to put some air in the tube and get a bottle with water and dish soap, we use Polmolive at work.

You can use just an air blower adn a buddy, have your helper blow a bit of air into the tube while you spray it down, just find the bubbles.

You don't need more than a couple pounds of air to find leaks, check the back of the brackets at the back of the tube, it is a stress point and I find alot of leaks there.
