Maybe I was too long winded and not enough info with my last post. I have a Yamaha '93 250TXRR serial # 61AUL-702987. It appears to have some kind of fuel flow problem I think. Let me ask just a few short questions. Should the fuel filter be full at all times? Mine seems to go down to half full while idling. Can I rev the engine to 4000 - 4500 rpms in neutral for a minute or two without harming the engine? This is so I can see if the fuel filter empties out and the engine slows down as it does when I'm cruising at that speed.
