I have a problem with my BF45(A) 1994 i think, am I correct in assuming that the oil light should light when the ignition is first switched while the oil has not yet pressurized. Also the Temp light should not be lit permanatly and glowing in sympathy with engine revs ?, I beleive I have an electrical fault however the company I bought it from is trying to tell me this is normal !! Since I dont have an owners manual I need some confirmation please.

Anybody know ?
Thanks.

The oil light should be on when the engine is running and you have good oil pressure ( on all of the time ) The temp light should not be on, if the temp light is on you should also have a over temp alarm that sounds to let you know there is a problem. Remember green light good red light bad.
