My port side engine is leaving a sheen of oil on the water at dock while idling. Where do I begin?

Check fluid levels.
Could be drive oil, engine oil, power trim or power steering.

Might have to pull boat and look for leaks.

It can also just be unburnt fuel if you are running very rich. Does it do this when the engine is completely warmed up?

Easiest thing is to check all fluid levels and look at choke plate on engine to make sure it is opening at same rate as the other engine.

It could also be as simple as that engine having slightly worn valve guides/seals and you get a slight oil burn on startup which won't be an issue either until down the road.
