Oil pump on a dt 115 2stroker

dissasemble to clean, need to know how to prime the system, before it looked like it had a good pulse pattern to the upper crank seal, now all the plugs show lean, while apart there is a small cap under the finish plate were the bleeder screw is that sits and rests on the pump itself, set it back on like a hat, now i see no pulse to the upper crank

have been searching for all oil block off threads, if the oil pump is removed, is there any reason the block / shaft has to come out, looks as if it is sealed at the point of the pump, can just the lines to the carbs be blocked with the assyl. still in tack with oil in it to get the mix dialed in, must have not re-assembled right, no more pulse to the upper crank and no repair book
