Please do not start multiple threads

You most likely have either a rust hole or other issue.

Plan on pulling the motor (pull the drive first)

If it only leaks when the engine is running, you may have the wrong filter or the old gasket was still there when you screwed on the new filter

If it leaks as you are pouring it in. You have a hole

Its strange but i filled the 1st 4 quarts as usual then it drani 3 more which would be too much. I drained 5 out of old oil. So i knew something was wrong. Its a i/0 pontoon so almost impossible to see under. Tried a selfie stick with phone and saw the pan but wasnt leaking. Im going to have someone fill while filming.

guessing ? , that could be one of those oil drain devices where you have a petcock that allow you to send a hose out the boat drain.
possibly it is in the drain position or the hose is split.

Its a vacum pump with a very small hose takes hours to empty. It did remove 4.5 gals as normal but when refilled then kept filling so leak happening . Im going to tape the fill this time when it starts. Maybe ill see it. Just need my son to help. With filling or taping.

This hose is probably connected to the drain on the oil pan for draining the oil thru the garboard drain hole. the hose may have a leak in it. it's not oem so wouldn't show up in a manual.
