Don't know of a OEM connector, they buy them from Digi key, Amphenol, Standard and others. If your sender has a threaded stud, suggest use a ring terminal with nut and washer

Or could use what you found

It does, and I was thinking of doing something like you mention, but wasn't sure if it would impact the function of the sender. I'm assuming it has a pigtail boot for a reason. I'll give it a go and will see what happens.

There is no impact. The push on connector was designed to make manufacturing faster, not necessarily better
