oil pressure issue 4.3 mercruiser

Hi to every one on iboats. I have oil pressure probleme on my 4.3l mercruiser. I was running, doing some break in test on my freshly rebuild engine. I ran for about 15mins than my engine stall. I start it and it stall after 15 sec. I start it again and same thing!!! I found that I did not have any oil pressure. I put the boat on my trailer to do some test at home: 1. Tested the oil prssure sender unit, good. 2. Removed the pressure sender, started the engine, no oil is comming. 3. Removed the distributor, took a drill and ran the pump, oil is comming. 4. Installed the distributor, started the engine, still have no oil comming. Did somebody have any idea of where the problem?????

Ayuh,... Sounds like a problem between the cam, 'n the oil pump drive...

What do you mean? My cam is new, all cams bearing are new. I do not figure what could be wrong!

I removed once again the distributor to inspect it and it's seem good. I suppose that the drill was able to let the pump get some oil but not enough to pull some pressure this is why I think that my pump is bad! Somebody has any idea?

Sounds like a problem between the cam, 'n the oil pump drive

You were wright Bond-o, I removed the oil pan and what I found in it, my oil pump!!! I propably miss-bolted it when I rebuild my engine!!!
