Oil pan gasket

I have a 2005 305ci mercruiser that needs a new oil pan. I have located a marine vortec style pan on eBay, but am having trouble locating a gasket, as most list their gaskets by year. So will "86 and up" one piece rear main seal work on my engine? Are they basically universal after 86? And will an automotive gasket work, or is there a special marine compound in the mercruiser gasket?

Ayuh,... An '86, 'n up oughta work, 'n Nope, nothin' different with automotive, vs. marine...

I like the 1 piece silicone rubber 1s myself...

Thanks, should be a lot cheaper for a non marine... BTW, my bro used to have property on Chaumont bay years ago, beautiful area! Great fishing!
