88 modle V-4...

If it's not oiling correctly and you want to temporarily mix oil in the fuel tank, what's a good mixture ratio?

Also, any precautions I should take in disabling the oil system to prevent causing another problem?

I plan to just run it this way for a weekend fishing trip. No way I can diagnose, order parts and replace them to have it ready by Friday.

Thanks in advance

Re: oil mixture

Only safe ratio would be 50:1. Be sure it is mixed well and add your fuel conditioner.

Purge the fuel line so that you have the mix all the way up to the engine.

Be sure to diconnect the 3 or 4 wire harness from the VRO2 pump to the engine harness so you won't get alarms.
