My outboard got submerged. I cleaned it out. Changed the oil x3 unitl it was no longer milky, Fogged the carburator and spark plug chamber with WD-40. When I ran it even though the oil was full, the oil light came on and burns steadily.
Is it possible that I shorted out or damaged the sensor?
Could the oil filter be plugged? If not the oil pump is bad?

Re: OIL LIGHT ON

Pull the powerhead and check the oil line screen and pressure switch.
