OK, I havn't really looked at or into it yet but I got a 95-97 yamaha waveraider... It had just been sitting in a building for several years but I took it out and got it going for a friend. I got it running and noticed a lot of smoke comming out of the back and there had been oil goin everywhere.... I looked inside and couldnt find any oil its just around the bottom in the back... can anyone tell me where its comming from or how to fix it?

If it was winterized the oil and smoke you are seeing is a from the fogging oil burning off (lots of white smoke). Also those two stroke pwc;s are extremely smokey and usually leave a little oil mark on the water when they first start up. Also they smoke a lot more when they are not in the water.

MAKE SURE YOUR OIL TANK IS FULL AND THAT IT IS USING OIL!!!

Make sure your gas is in good shape to, if it is old gas dilute it and run it in your car.

WELCOME TO IBOATS!

It could be just residual 2 stroke oil from the water box, and stale gas so I would drain the fuel and replace it, then take it out and run it for a while it should clear up

Mine smokes pretty bad too. I've heard it the nature of the beast. They are a constant flow oil system.
