Oil leak on 2003 mercury 40hp

I have a 2003 mercury 40hp cylinder 2 stroke. I believe my oil pump is leaking oil at the bottom. Are they a way I can eliminate the oil pump or do they make a block off kit or a rebuild kit eplt is my model number have prolly 6oz oil or more in my bottom cowling hoses is dry and tank is dry NEED HELP

Probably dried out hoses if they are original. I have been told to keep an eye on mine ( I am a recent 40hp oil injected merc owner). I did look mine overvand hoses look new and are pliable. Any sign of dryness, cracks they should be replaced. From my research, the Merc oil pumps are pretty much bullit proof, just watch the hoses to be sure they dont dry out and leak. I havent found any complaints about leaking oil tanks.

Mine looks like it might be coming from the bottom of pump all my hose is dry to the tou h and my tank is 2
