I have a 2000 Honda outboard that has an oil leak that I cannot seem to find. I have done a compression check on the cylinders with a result of 160 PSI on each cylinder. It does not appear to be blowing by Valves or coming out of the exhaust. After about 3 hours on the water I will have to add 1 quart of oil to top it off there is a little oil residue around the bottom of air intake in the cowling. Just does not seem to be enough to warrant the addition of a quart no oil leaking from the outside or any visible oil residue in the water with it idling. Does anyone have a idea what to look for or do.
