oil injection

bought a boat with the oil injection unhooked guy i bought it from said trouble with them but had some trouble with motor this weekend took it to boat shop guy there said if it was his he would hook it back upanyone can greaatly appriciated its a 90 hp merc

Why did he disconnect it in the first place? What kind of trouble was he having?

he said unhooked it just because the mechanic told him to the boat had sat in a garage for like 15 years he took it to a shop they tolds him oil injection broke alot is what he told me

With a motor that old, I think you would better off to keep premixing and that way you know you have oil in the gas.
