I have a 92 650 Polaris that got a crack in the oil tank and shot oil everywhere when we were at Lake Powell. (4 years ago by the way) I blocked off the oil line, mixed the gas with the oil and turned out all 3 mixture screws about 4 turns and it ran pretty good for remainder of the trip. My wife got B-Cancer and the boat and waverunner have sat for 4 years. All is well now and Grandkids are old enough to have fun at the lake.
Question. I have new oil tank....but....how do I adjust the single rotating adjusting screw that is in the center of the block and below the three carbs. According th my book, that is the oil adjuster. However, it turns either way and continuous in either direction. There is no stop! Am I right that this is how I do it? Does anyone know or have a link to any site that will tell me how to do it.
