Oil inj. will synthetic oil flow faster

I have a 2002 90hp mercury 2 stroke and used the quicksilver oil that came with the motor. This spring I tried Pennsoil synthetic, I noticed that the oil tank level dropped much faster than the regular quicksilver oil did (about twice as fast. No problem with fouling plugs and motor runs great. Does the synthetic just burn faster? Is this a good thing or should I return to using the quickslver? If the synthetic is used faster it makes it even more costly to use.

it shouldnt "flow"any faster.. i mean a quart of oil is a quart of oil

you can buy synthetic oil made specifically for oil injection systems if you want... other wise id start looking for a leak

There should be no difference that I can see a reason for. I switched from quicksilver to the Amsoil HP injector oil and it seems the same to me.

Duffer; i beleive it does not use more or less oil ,due to its a regulated/measured injection.i could be wrong!!

There shouldn't be any difference in oil consumption amount by using synthetic. You would be experiencing some problems with fouling and running conditions if it were using 2X the normal amount of oil.
