I’m working on a 2012 Mercury 20 that keeps pushing oil from the engine into the carb through the hose that goes from the top of the engine to the carb. I’m a novice when it comes to outboards but I’m an ASE Master Auto Tech so this shouldn’t be above me. Engine runs great and while I haven’t done a compression test, it seems like it’s something other than worn rings. Engine has been run very little since new. Has anyone experienced anything like this and if so what was it?
