Hi all. I was just wondering what the culprit may be here. I have some oil spray (speckled) on the left side (facing it from the front) of my 3.0 Volvo Penta. There is oil in the bilge as well. I checked the oil level and it is fine so there cannot be much leaking out. I tightened the oil filter which was loose and it is still doing it. It looks like it may be coming out from under the distributor or somewhere in that area since the bulk of the oil is directly under it. Also, there was no water in the oil so I doubt that the block is cracked. The boat is an 18' Monterey (2005). Any ideas?
