Been looking for information all night to figure out this problem. Thought I would come here to see if I can get a little help. I am new to this Forum. I just recently Bought a 1997 Chris Craft 21' Concept. It has the Volvo 5.7 Gi
Engine with the SX Cobra Out Drive. The Boat Runs Stong and Fast With Good Oil Pressure. Although I had Noticed oil in the Ski locker and in the Bilge. I had a Freind of Mine look at this evening. He told me it is coming from the Right side of the Engine Starboard side if you are Driving the Boat. He told me that there is a Hole that needs to be Plugged or a dipstick that is missing. Is there a dipstick on that side of the engine? or a plug that would cause the engine to lose oil? any help would be appreciated.

Marine engines some time use an oil pan with an integrated dip stick. In this case the dipstick port in the block should be plugged, maybe the pulg has fallen out?? BTW welcome to iboats.

Great thanks for the help. Would you have any idea what to plug it with?
