Oil filter in storage question

I have a few oil filters that are 1-2 years old. They have been sitting in a locker under a seat in my boat for over a year. Any reason why they would not be good? They never got wet, they were just sitting in a non climate controlled locker.

if they look good, use them. if they are rusted on the threaded plate, dont use them.
