The dealer wants $12 for an oil filter. I think I remember hearing that the Honda 90 uses the same oil filter as a Honda CIVIC. If so I can buy one at NAPA for a lot less. Does anyone know if this is true?

Could be. Have you asked NAPA??

The Suzuki Samurai filter is a bit larger and a lot cheaper than the filter for my Suzuki DF70, but it fits. :D

Maybe it's because you're in Hawaii. Even in Canada, I don't pay that much. Anyway, I too have a 90 and did a check. They ARE NOT the same filter. Don't know what the difference is though.

JB:
Have you been using the Suzuki Samurai filter in your DF70 on a regular basis? If so what is the part number? There is alot of room for a bigger filter on that DF70. I thought about trying the car oil filter since that engine is supposed to be the same one used in the Suzuki autos. They must be half the price of there marine counterparts.

Manitoba1
