Oil coming out just above....

I have a 1985 evinrude 6hp. When it is not running I have black oil that is coming out just above the prop. I think it is the water inlet screen area. The oil smells like it has a gas smell to it also.
Why is this dripping out of there...and it finally stops after a day of not running.

Please Help.

It is usually just unburnt fuel mixture,nothing to worry about. About all 2 strokes do it.My V-6 leaves a big puddle when it sits awhile.

Do I have the mixture a little to rich maybe?? Should I lean it just a bit. Sometimes its hard to get right at 50:1
