Re: oil change

Notsloow
Would really help to know
Make of engine
Horse power
Type
In general assumeing you have a 4 cycle I/O. The normal oil is 30 weight. I have not seen any manufacture call for multivisocity oil. Car use it but cars rarely run anywhere near full throdle like many boats do.

Re: oil change

If you turn to your marine shop to check, you'll see that multiviscosity oils are used as well. Certified marine oils are formulated to cope with marina conditions (water) etc.

Check ie. Pennzoil.com for further.

When a marine product is available at a fair cost, why not use it??
