Hello,
I changed the starter relay, because it was chattering when trying to start. This is the only thing I have done. I have owned this boat 10 plus years.

I mention this because There are hot wires from the selenoid to the key switch, and grounds on the braket that hold the selenoid.

When I turn on the key the oil and tem gauge peg to the left. Gas gauge ok.
When running same results.
Turn off gauges go the zero mark.

Any Ideas.

Thanks Mitch

[Ok problem solved. Just stupid. I decide to start from scratch disconnect guage totally, gave it power, then touched the sensor side to the ground gauge went up quickly on both the oil and temp gauge, this tells me guage is ok. These are Stewart Warner I suppose they have SW on the dial at the bottom. Then did the same from the sending unit wire from sending unit fine. Wow how dumb, I guess I didnt notice for ten years that when I turn the key on the gauges go to the left. After running they act correctly. Phew.
