Just purchased a used 1988 Mercury 175hp V6 with remote oil tank. When I hooked up the harness and turned the key, everything worked as it should but no initial "beep beep beep" from the alarm module. After about 3 starts, I got the beeps on start-up when turning the key, but after another 5 starts or so, I've lost the beeping. Is there anything I can check to see if the fault lies elsewhere or do I just buy a new warning module?<br /><br />Thanks
