Oh yeah. I waxed the arch.

So on Friday the 5th, we get back to the dock and I go up on the bow to plug in the skore power. Coming back down the side of the boat (no walk through windshield) I grab the arch to step down the 3ft or so to the dock, like I've done a hundred times before, and find myself falling through the air and landing hard on my right arm. Quite the POP! as my elbow dislocates. Yup, I had waxed the boat the week before so she'd look purty for the family coming from out of town, including the radar arch. :facepalm:

I'm having the marina install a pair of nice stainless steel grab bars on the outside of the arch this week. Better late than never.

Oh yea...lessons are some times learned the hard way...and at any age too. Glad you're in good spirits though...

Got my new grab bars installed last week and I'm hoping to get the cast off this afternoon. Then I can get back to really enjoying the summer.
